The system has further consolidated into an active cyclonic circulation, raising concerns of a possible cyclone formation, stated the IMD.
According to forecasts, the system is likely to strengthen into a depression by tomorrow. As it continues to organise and intensify over the southeast Bay of Bengal, meteorologists warn that it may develop into a cyclonic storm in the coming days.
