Rajnagar, Sep 8: A woman and her son went missing after they ventured into Bhitarkanika region to catch crabs. The incident was reported from Debendranarayanpur village in Rajnagar block.
The victims were identified as Anjana Mirdha and her son Jitendra Mirdha.
According to reports, the duo had entered the forested area five days ago but have not returned since. Following this, a complaint has be lodged with the local police.

After complaint, the Forest Department has launched an extensive search operation. Ten forest teams have been deployed across the region to locate the missing individuals.
Drones have also been brought in to assist with aerial surveillance, and local residents have joined the search efforts.
