The IMD has predicted extremely heavy rainfall in Malkangiri and Koraput, and the cyclone’s path may shift as it intensifies. The Odisha government has placed disaster management teams on high alert and is preparing for emergency response measures.

Due to rough sea conditions, danger signal number 3 has been issued at all ports, and fishermen have been strictly prohibited from venturing into the sea between October 26 and 30.
