CM Majhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Extend Greetings On International Women’s Day

Bhubaneswar, March 8: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and several other leaders extended heartfelt greetings on the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrating the strength, resilience, and contributions of women in every sphere of life.

Extending greetings to women, CM Majhi took to Twitter and said: " On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all women of the state. Women’s power is the true strength of society. With this firm belief, our government has been giving the highest priority to the overall development and empowerment of women.
Today, women of Odisha are gaining financial independence through the Subhadra scheme, while the Lakshapati Didi campaign is enabling them to emerge as new entrepreneurs. For the bright future of girls, the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala scheme is bringing a revolution in education, while the Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana is strengthening social security. Similarly, initiatives like Mamata and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana are ensuring the welfare of mothers and children. Innovative efforts such as Subhadra Wellness Centers and Subhadra Shakti Sambad are further enhancing women’s health and awareness.
The core objective of all these efforts is to provide respect and equal opportunities to women. From health to self‑reliance, we are committed to advancing women’s power in every sphere. Let us celebrate the indomitable courage and success of women and participate in building an equality‑based society."
Similarly, the Union Minister said:" Greetings to India’s Nari Shakti on International Women’s Day. They are leading from the front in every sphere and equally contributing to India’s growth story. The country takes great pride in their strength, resilience and accomplishments. PM Shri Narendra Modi’s govt. remains committed to empower women, champion women-led development and ensure equal participation of women in shaping Viksit Bharat."
