✨In his keynote address, CM Majhi strongly criticized the previous government for failing to bring industrial revolution despite enjoying 24 years of stability. He remarked that Odisha was betrayed due to lack of foresight and political will, with past initiatives like Make in Odisha remaining largely event-driven and failing to deliver substantial ground-level results.
Highlighting his government’s achievements in just 17 months, CM Majhi announced that Odisha has secured investment proposals worth ₹17 lakh crore, the largest in the state’s history. He added that 260 projects worth ₹5.6 lakh crore have already been approved, expected to generate 3.6 lakh employment opportunities. Of these, projects worth ₹2 lakh crore have already been grounded.
CM Majhi reaffirmed his government’s commitment to real-time
project execution, stating that industries will be established across 64
locations in 30 districts, with groundbreaking completed in 14 districts. He
assured that the government is focused not on event management but on tangible
industrial growth, positioning Odisha as a rising hub of opportunities and
prosperity.
