Results For Arts, Science, Commerce, Vocational Streams To Be Announced Simultaneously

Bhubaneswar, May 18: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha is set to declare the Class-12 (+2) Results on May 20, according to an announcement made by Minister for School & Mass Education Nityananda Gond on Monday.

The results of all four streams -- Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational -- will be announced simultaneously at the office of the CHSE, Odisha, at 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

Results To Be Available Online
Once released, students of Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational streams will be able to access their provisional scorecards online through the official CHSE Odisha website.

Students will be able to access their marks online through the official websites results.odisha.gov.in and results.digilocker.gov.in.

According to official data, a total of 4,01,623 students had filled forms for the +2 examinations this year. However, 3,533 students remained absent, while the results of 3,98,090 candidates will be published.

Candidates have been advised to keep their roll number and registration details ready to avoid delays while checking their results online.

The annual examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 28 under tight supervision and smooth management by the council.

School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond said the examinations and evaluation process were completed smoothly and expressed hope for good results this year as well.

Meanwhile, CHSE Controller of Examinations Dr Prasanta Kumar Parida informed that among the absentees, 2,588 students were from Arts, 537 from Science, 332 from Commerce and 76 from Vocational courses.

He also said that online evaluation of English answer sheets in the Arts stream was introduced this year for the first time.

What Will The Online Marksheet Contain?
The provisional online marksheet is expected to include:

Subject-wise marks
Total score
Division obtained
Qualifying status

Officials said the digital scorecard released online will be provisional in nature, while original marksheets and certificates will later be distributed through respective schools.
