New Delhi, May 15: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday officially announced the new date for the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 following the cancellation of the earlier examination amid the paper leak allegations.
According to the latest notification issued by the NTA with the approval of the Government of India, the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination will now be conducted on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The announcement comes after the cancellation of the examination held on May 3 over allegations of question paper leaks.
Fresh Opportunity For Medical Aspirants
The revised examination schedule is expected to provide lakhs of students another opportunity to compete fairly for admission into MBBS, BDS and allied medical courses across the country.
Students and parents had been awaiting clarity after the earlier NEET examination was cancelled following the controversy.
NTA Advises Students To Rely Only On Official Sources
In its official notice, the NTA urged candidates and parents to depend only on official communication channels for updates related to the examination.
The agency advised students not to believe rumours or unverified information circulating on social media platforms and messaging groups.
