As per the directive, school principals must submit a report confirming the operational status of CCTV systems on their campuses. The move aims to facilitate fair, impartial, and well-monitored examinations.
According to CHSE guidelines, self-financed colleges must ensure CCTV coverage in the superintendent’s office, theory halls, and practical labs.

✨Institutions applying for new exam centre recognition must install CCTV cameras in both the exam hall and superintendent’s chamber before approval.
Each centre, including newly proposed ones, must be equipped with DVR/NVR (Digital Video Recorder/Network Video Recorder) systems, Insta Cloud static IP addresses, serial numbers, and high-speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps).
Schools must also submit details such as college name and code, internet provider, DVR/NVR serial number, username, and system password by the deadline.
Failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe may result in cancellation of theory and practical exam centre status. CHSE Exam Controller Prasanta Kumar Parida warned that non-compliance could lead to disciplinary recommendations to the state government.
Additionally, CHSE plans to establish exam centres in 90 upgraded institutions recently transitioned from high schools to higher secondary schools.
