Bhubaneswar, Oct 13: In a vibrant display of innovation and enthusiasm, students from Khordha district in Odisha engaged in a meaningful dialogue with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan during the launch of Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025.

 

The event, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission, aims to empower young minds to contribute to India’s development goals.

 

During the interaction, students showcased their ideas and prototypes, including robots designed to address various local challenges in Odisha. Their projects reflected themes such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local, Swadeshi, and Samriddh Bharat, aligning with the national vision of a self-reliant and prosperous India.

Union Minister Pradhan praised the students’ creativity and commitment, calling the initiative a “historic step” toward realizing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp. He emphasized that India is poised to become a global hub for solutions and will lead the world in the coming century. “Today’s youth are the architects of tomorrow’s India,” he said.

 

The Buildathon 2025 saw participation from lakhs of students across the country, particularly from Classes 6 to 12. Students presented their innovative models and ideas, demonstrating their understanding of real-world problems and their ability to think critically and creatively.

 

The event has sparked unprecedented excitement among students, educators, and policymakers alike. It is being hailed as India’s largest student innovation programme, designed to nurture problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial thinking from an early age.
