Bhubaneswar, Oct 9: A crucial meeting of the BJP Core Committee is scheduled to take place today at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar, under the chairmanship of State President Manmohan Samal.

The meeting will be attended by both party in-charges and members of the core committee.

BJP National General Secretary BL Santhosh and National Organiser V. Satish have arrived in Bhubaneswar to participate in the session.

The meeting will primarily focus on the upcoming Nuapada by-election, with discussions expected around potential candidates and strategic planning.

As part of the program, BL Santhosh will conduct a training session for tribal MLAs and MPs, aimed at enhancing leadership and grassroots engagement. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with all elected tribal legislators, parliamentarians, will be present at the event.

Later in the day, senior party leaders will convene to discuss the upcoming by-election in Nuapada. Deliberations will include a shortlist of potential candidates and strategic planning for the campaign. The meeting may also finalise the new state committee lineup.

In the evening, BL Santhosh is scheduled to meet with cabinet ministers to review governance performance. Discussions will include individual report cards of ministers and task assignments for the coming days.
