The BJP core committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday at the party’s state headquarters. It will be chaired by the state president Manmohan Samal and will be attended by both state in-charges and committee members. National General Secretary BL Santosh and National Organizer V Satish are also expected to join the meeting during their Odisha visit.
The meeting will focus on finalizing the probable candidate list for Nuapada and may also conclude with a decision from the state committee.
In parallel, a training camp for tribal MLAs and MPs will be held at the same venue. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and all tribal representatives will be present. BL Santosh and V Satish will lead the training sessions, which aim to empower tribal leaders to adopt 20–25 villages in their constituencies as “model villages.”

community engagement. Following the camp, the core committee meeting will
reconvene to finalize the party’s strategy for the bypoll.
