Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday named senior leader and former Odisha Minister Snehangini Chhuria as its candidate for the upcoming by-election to the Nuapada Assembly constituency.

Chhuria, a seasoned politician with deep roots in the region, is expected to bolster the party’s prospects in the bypoll.
