Bhubaneswar, Sept 18: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has invited online applications for allotment of apartments under its Ekamra Residency housing project at Subudhipur here in Odisha, officials said on Friday.

The process, which began on September 18, will remain open until October 31, giving prospective home-buyers ample time to apply, they added.

Spread across 7.34 acres, Ekamra Residency has been designed as a modern residential complex offering a mix of 2BHK and 2BHK + Study apartments. Equipped with essential facilities such as covered parking, a community centre, gymnasium, rooftop swimming pool, lifts, power backup, and security arrangements, the project aims to provide a comfortable and well-connected living environment.

Under the current scheme, BDA has opened applications for 496 apartments in two blocks — 288 units of 2BHK + Study and 208 units of 2BHK. Allotment will be carried out through a lottery system to ensure transparency and fairness.

“BDA has invited applications for allotment of 496 apartments under the Ekamra Residency project. The apartments will be allotted through a lottery process, and interested applicants can submit their applications online within the stipulated period,” said BDA Vice-Chairman Chanchal Rana.

Applicants must register for a Unique Account Number (UAN), which is mandatory for transactions under BDA’s Property Allotment System. Valid proof of date of birth and address is required during registration. The online system will cover every stage of the process — from application submission and scrutiny to lottery, provisional allotment, and online payment.
