Bhubaneswar, Nov 24: Tension gripped Biribandha village under the jurisdiction of Airfield police station after a violent group clash erupted between residents of Pradhan Sahi and Bhoi Sahi.
The incident occurred at the Jatra ground in the early hours of Monday, quickly spilling over into nearby houses and escalating into a full-blown confrontation.
According to eyewitnesses, youths from both localities
engaged in heated arguments that soon turned violent. Armed with sticks,
members of the two groups attacked each other, resulting in multiple injuries.
The injured were rushed to the medical hospital where they are currently
undergoing treatment.
