About the Festival
Cuttack — the Millennium City of Odisha — is all set to host the Historic Baliyatra Cuttack 2025 on the banks of the Mahanadi River from November 5 to November 12.
It is a festival to celebrate the glorious maritime history
of Odisha. Baliyatra, meaning “Journey to Bali,” honours Odisha’s old tradition
of traders sailing to distant lands in boats called Boitas from the Mahanadi
River during Kartika Purnima.
