Ghaziabad, Feb 4: In a shocking incident, three minor sisters jumped to their death from the ninth floor of their apartment building in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly following a dispute with their parents over online gaming.

The deceased have been identified as Pakhi (12), Prachi (14), and Vishika (16).

According to preliminary reports, the sisters, all school-going children, were deeply engrossed in online gaming. Their parents had objected to their excessive use of mobile phones and warned them against continuing the habit. The confrontation reportedly escalated, after which the three girls took the extreme step late Tuesday night.

Neighbours alerted authorities after witnessing the fall, and police rushed to the spot. The girls were declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.

Police officials said an investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events and whether any other factors contributed to the tragedy.

The incident has sparked widespread concern about the growing influence of online gaming among children and the need for parental.
