Police teams from Ramsinghpur and neighbouring stations immediately reached the site, while senior administrative and law enforcement officials launched a joint inspection. Sri Ganganagar Superintendent of Police Harishankar personally visited the location to oversee the preliminary probe.

SP Harishankar said a suspicious explosion had occurred directly on the railway track near Ramsinghpur. However, he stressed that the exact cause and nature of the blast remain unclear and investigations are still underway.

A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been deployed to collect samples and examine the site for evidence. Investigators are exploring all possible angles and have urged people not to speculate until forensic findings are available.

Railway officials also inspected the affected section to determine whether the track had suffered any damage. A senior Railway Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) confirmed that no trains were operating on the route when the incident occurred. The official acknowledged that an incident had taken place but noted that there was no conclusive information yet regarding its exact nature.

In the wake of the incident, railway authorities have intensified track inspections and enhanced security measures as a precaution.

Several agencies, including the CID, FSL and railway engineering teams, are participating in the investigation. Officials present at the site included Railway Senior Section Engineer (PWI) Naval Kishore, Jaitsar Naib Tehsildar Ankit Godara and Anupgarh Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Ashok Sagwa.

Authorities said the cause of the explosion and the extent of any damage will become clearer after forensic and technical examinations are completed.
