Police suspect food poisoning as the possible cause, though the exact reason remains unclear. The bodies have been sent for post‑mortem examination, and forensic teams are analyzing food samples to determine whether contamination or poisoning was involved.

Senior police officers, along with officials from the Food Safety Department, have reached the spot to oversee the investigation.

Neighbours and Mahesh’s mother informed police about the family’s last meal, strengthening suspicions of food poisoning. However, investigators have not ruled out other possibilities, including deliberate foul play.

Authorities have assured that the cause will be established once forensic and post‑mortem reports are available.
