The meeting underscored education as a key pillar of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations. Discussions focused on enhancing academic ties through joint, dual, and twinning degree programs, as well as promoting two-way mobility for students, teachers, researchers, and skilled professionals.
Minister Pradhan emphasized the potential for collaboration between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in emerging sectors such as critical minerals, green hydrogen, and deep-tech. These areas align with both countries’ strategic priorities and offer opportunities for joint innovation and workforce development.
Skill development and vocational education also featured prominently in the dialogue. Both leaders agreed that deeper engagement in these areas would benefit youth in both countries and support global employability goals.
