Moradabad, Dec 2: Bollywood actor Disha Patani’s sister, Khushboo Patani, has raised serious concerns over emergency response failures after she stopped to help victims of a fatal road accident on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway near Moradabad on Sunday.

Khushboo, who was travelling on the same route, came across the accident site where a speeding roadways bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw, leaving six members of a family dead and five others critically injured. She immediately stepped in to assist, helping move the injured and transporting four to five survivors to a hospital in an auto-rickshaw.

In a video posted on Instagram, Khushboo expressed frustration that ambulances took more than 1.5 hours to arrive, leaving victims without timely medical aid. “It has been more than an hour, the ambulance has not arrived,” she said, adding that many lives could have been saved with quicker intervention.

She also criticised bystanders who were filming the tragedy instead of helping. “As an Indian citizen, this priority of filming first is absolutely wrong,” she remarked, urging people not to fear police complications when assisting accident victims.
