New Delhi, Jan 29: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 today for candidates aspiring to pursue B.Arch (Paper 2A) and B.Planning (Paper 2B).


The exam is being conducted in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm.


Despite being the concluding paper of the session, the NTA has reiterated that all examination rules, protocols, and security measures will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness and transparency. Candidates across the country are appearing for the test at designated centres, with arrangements made to maintain smooth conduct.


Paper 2 is specifically designed to assess the aptitude, drawing, and planning skills of students seeking admission to architecture and planning courses in premier institutions. The results of the January session will be followed by the April session, giving candidates another opportunity to improve their scores.

Officials emphasized that the JEE Main remains one of the most competitive entrance examinations in India, serving as the gateway to prestigious institutes including the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and eligibility for JEE Advanced, which leads to admission in the IITs.
