✨Responding swiftly to the emergency call, the Haryana Police Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV-235) team navigated through heavy Delhi-NCR traffic and reached the spot within minutes.
Upon assessing the situation, EHC Sandeep and Constable Sandeep realised that attempting to shift the woman to a hospital could be risky, as childbirth appeared imminent.
Demonstrating remarkable presence of mind, the two officers decided to manage the situation on-site. With the assistance of Urmila and several local women, they created a protective enclosure to ensure privacy and safety for the expectant mother.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the police personnel and volunteers, the woman safely delivered a baby by the roadside. Moments later, the sound of the newborn's first cry brought relief and joy to everyone present.
Following the successful delivery, the officers acted quickly to ensure the health and safety of both mother and child. They transported them in their PCR vehicle to a hospital in Badshahpur for further medical care and postnatal treatment.
Doctors later admitted both mother and newborn for
observation and confirmed that they were receiving proper medical attention.
