New Delhi, Jan 1: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has extended the online registration deadline for its ongoing CEPTAM-11 recruitment drive, giving aspirants extra time to submit their applications for technical posts. The new deadline to apply online is now January 11, 2026.
This recruitment drive under CEPTAM-11 aims to fill 764 vacancies for technical positions across the organisation. The key posts include -- Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B)—561 vacancies—and Technician-A (Tech-A)—203 vacancies.

✨Earlier, the registration was scheduled to end on January 1,
2026, but DRDO has now extended the deadline to provide more time to candidates
who are yet to complete their applications.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications, such as - Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): A Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant engineering or technical field, plus a diploma in the appropriate discipline, Technician-A (Tech-A): Class 10 (Matriculation) pass certificate and a valid ITI certificate in the related trade. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxations for reserved categories will be as per government rule.
Selection Process -- The selection will be conducted in multiple stages typically including -- Computer based test (CBT), a trade/skill test, document verification, and a medical examination.
Candidates who successfully clear all stages will be considered for appointment. The final merit list will be published after the evaluation of all results.

upload scanned copies of all required documents, pay the application fee before
the due date, and submit the form well before the deadline to avoid any
