New Delhi, Nov 8: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday extended warm birthday wishes to veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani, praising his enduring legacy and contributions to Indian politics.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Pradhan described Advani as the “guardian of the BJP family” and a “guiding light for millions of workers.”

He lauded Advani’s public life as a symbol of “unwavering patriotism, organizational prowess, and steadfast commitment to democratic values.”

“Advani ji provided the BJP with a strong ideological foundation and established new benchmarks in the nation's political culture,” Pradhan tweeted.

“His guidance, sacrifices, and spirit of national service remain a source of inspiration for all of us workers.”

Concluding his message, Pradhan offered prayers to Lord Jagannath for Advani’s continued good health and long life.

The tribute comes as leaders across the political spectrum mark the birthday of one of India’s most influential statesmen, whose role in shaping the Bharatiya Janata Party and national discourse remains widely acknowledged.

Advani, who was conferred the Bharat Ratna in March, 2024 by President Droupadi Murmu, served as the Deputy Prime Minister in the NDA government led by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee from 2002 to 2004. He was born in Karachi (now in Pakistan) on November 8, 1927 and began his political journey with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1942 and went on to serve as BJP National President multiple times.
