New Delhi, Jan 31: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) – CUET UG 2026.


Candidates can now submit their applications until 11:50 PM on February 4, 2026, through the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.


Originally scheduled to close on January 30, the registration window has been extended following requests from students and institutions.


The online application process, which began on January 3, will now remain open for an additional few days.


Exam Schedule & Key Dates
- Registration Deadline: February 4, 2026 (11:50 PM)
- Fee Payment Deadline: February 7, 2026
- Correction Window: February 9–11, 2026
- Exam Dates: May 11–31, 2026 (Computer-Based Test mode)


About CUET UG 2026
CUET UG serves as a single-window entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programs across Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed Universities, and Private Institutions. The test will be conducted in multiple cities across India and 15 international locations, ensuring accessibility for a diverse pool of candidates.

The NTA has assured that the exam will be conducted under strict protocols, with computer-based testing centers set up nationwide. Students are advised to carefully review eligibility criteria, upload required documents, and pay fees before the revised deadline.
