Jaipur, Nov 2: In a deeply distressing incident, a 9-year-old girl died after allegedly jumping from the fourth floor of Neerja Modi School, a prominent private institution in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The tragedy occurred during school hours and has since sparked outrage and calls for a thorough investigation.
According to police reports, the girl was found critically injured after falling from a height of approximately 48 feet. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
CCTV footage reviewed by the authorities reportedly shows the girl climbing over a railing before the fall.

While initial findings suggest a possible suicide, the exact circumstances remain under investigation. The school has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
The girl’s parents, along with members of a local parents’
association, have alleged that she was subjected to harassment by school staff.
They have also accused the school of tampering with evidence, claiming that the
area where the girl fell had been cleaned before police arrived, with no
visible bloodstains at the scene.
