Jaipur, Nov 3: At least 12 people were killed while 10 others sustained injuries after a speeding dumper rammed into multiple vehicles in Jaipur’s Harmara area.

The high-speed dumper, allegedly driven by a drunk driver, lost control and crushed 17 vehicles over a stretch of nearly 300 meters.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the dumper was heading towards the Loha Mandi petrol pump from Road Number 14 to get onto the highway.

Meanwhile, at around 1 PM, the driver veered out of control and went on to crushing many vehicles near Loha Mandi, VKI (Vishwakarma Industrial Area).

While 12 people were declared dead, several with serious injuries were rescued to nearby hospital for treatment. Soon the driver was caught and handed over to the police.

Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
