Authorities hailed the development as a morale boost for ongoing anti-Maoist operations across the tri-state region.
Security experts believe the surrender of a key spokesperson will weaken the MMC committee’s ability to mobilize cadres and spread extremist ideology.
Officials emphasized that the government remains committed to ensuring peace and development in affected areas, while continuing to offer opportunities for Maoists to abandon violence and join the democratic process.
