Mumbai, May 23: Nita Ambani, the chairperson of the Reliance Foundation and wife of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man, is all set to bring a grand cultural showcase to New York City's Lincoln Center with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) Weekend.

The cultural fest is scheduled from September 12 to September 14, 2025. The event will feature dance, music, fashion, and art, celebrating India's rich heritage on a global stage.

The highlight of the weekend will be the US premiere of "The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation," a theatrical production that narrates India's journey from 5000 BC to independence in 1947 through dance, music, and storytelling.

The event will also include a Grand Swagat gala, featuring a fashion showcase curated by Manish Malhotra, traditional Indian cuisine by Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna, and performances by Bollywood singers Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal and classical musician Rishab Sharma.

In addition, Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park will transform into a Great Indian Bazaar, offering yoga workshops, Bollywood dance sessions, cricket discussions, and artisan markets showcasing traditional Indian crafts and textiles.

Ambani expressed her enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the importance of placing Indian arts on the global stage. With New York City as its backdrop, the festival aims to bridge cultures and celebrate India’s artistic brilliance worldwide.
