According to
local wellness experts, a simple yet effective lip balm can be prepared using
beetroot, rose water,and rose petals. The ingredients are ground into a paste,
strained, and then blended with coconut oil and almond oil. To enhance its
healing properties, aloe vera gel can also be added before gently warming the
mixture. The final product, stored in a glass jar, offers a soothing and
chemical-free solution to winter lip care.
How To Prepare It:
First, chop beetroot into small pieces.
Then grind it with rose water and rose petals.
Strain the mixture using a cloth and mix it well with coconut oil and almond oil.
Next, add aloe vera gel and petroleum jelly to the mixture.
Heat the paste slightly in a microwave. If you don’t have a microwave, you can warm water in a pot and place the container with the mixture inside it.
Your homemade lip balm is now ready. Store it in a glass jar or bottle and use as needed.
