Speaking from the stage, he said investigators examined her belongings and described finding her “panties folded perfect, wrapped so perfect.” He went on to add, “I think she steams them.”

Earlier in the address, Trump spoke about the US economy, saying inflation had eased and crediting his administration with job creation and wage growth. He also referred to efforts to lower prescription drug prices, saying steps were being taken to make medicines more affordable.
Trump defended his administration’s tariff policies, arguing that duties on imported goods were necessary to protect domestic manufacturing. Referring to North Carolina’s furniture industry, he said tariffs were intended to revive domestic production and bring jobs back to the state.
He also urged voters to support Republican candidates ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, expressing backing for party leaders in North Carolina.
