Chakraborty, who spent 28 days as an undertrial in Byculla jail, expressed feeling a lingering fear among industry insiders, hindering her prospects.

Acknowledging the extensive trolling she endured on social media, she emphasized the support she received from friends during challenging times. In response to derogatory name-calling, Chakraborty surprisingly embraced the term 'chudail' (witch), citing historical connotations of a woman defying patriarchal norms.

The actress, accused of abetting Rajput's suicide by his family in 2020, remains resilient amid ongoing challenges. Despite the emotional and financial backing from friends, her struggles to reintegrate into the film industry highlight the lasting impact of public scrutiny on a celebrity's career.
