Mumbai, Feb 3: After its massive worldwide box office success and widespread acclaim, Dhurandhar 1 is set to return with a thrilling sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, hitting theaters soon.
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh shared a poster of the film at 12:12, along with the other star casts, on social media, revealing a darker and bloodier look and a caption saying, "Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai."
After a successful rule at the theatres, Dhurandhar 1 is making waves on Netflix after its OTT release last week. The movie scored Rs 1300 crore at the global box office and a whopping Rs.800 crores in India, making it the highest grossing hindi film ever in Indian cinema history.
In the latest poster, Ranveer Singh's character Hamza Ali Mazari / Jaskirat Singh Rangi standing in the rain with red lights behind him, acting like a metaphor for blood rain. The character stands in the centre with a soaking black trenchcoat, hair let loose and an intense glaze from the character's eyes. The poster hints a more power-packed, fierce and intense continuation of the storyline, shifting majority of the focus on Ranveer.
Last year, the first part was released with an 'Adults Only' rating by the CBFC with a 1 min 28 seconds teaser. The film has a running time of 3 hour 32 mins, which will likely be the same for the second.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will have less of the crew casted in the first part.

However, Akshaye Khanna did shoot a few scenes which will be shown in the second part as never-seen flashbacks squences of Rehman Dakait. The film will also reveal who 'Bade Saab' is.
The movie, set to release in multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, will hit theatres on March 19, 2026. It is going to clash with Yash starrer, 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups' and Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh's 'Dacoit'.
