Ram Charan, Jahnvi Kapoor starrer Peddi has become the second highest opening of 2026 after Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun starrer Dhurandar 2.

The sports-action entertainer grossed an estimated Rs112.49 crore worldwide on its first day, reaffirming the Telugu superstar's box-office pull and placing him among the most successful opening-day stars in South Indian cinema.

The blockbuster opening is significant for more than just the numbers. With Peddi, Ram Charan has now become only the fourth South Indian actor to deliver multiple Rs100-crore-plus opening-day films worldwide.

As per data available, Odisha box office on day 1 has been muted. Unlike Pushpa, Peddi has collected over Rs 8.3 lakh with an occupancy of over 29%; when Allu Arjun’s Pushpa had 78% occupancy.
