Argus News - Raj Arjun Reveals How Daughter Sara became his ‘Dhurandhar’ During Struggles

Mumbai, Mar 21: Today, Sara Arjun is basking in the success of Dhurandhar 2, where she reprises her role as Yalina. The film, released on March 19, features Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.

In between the success of Dhurandhar 2 Actor Father Raj Arjun recently opened up about his struggling years and how his daughter, actress Sara Arjun, became his guiding light during those difficult times. Speaking to media, Raj shared heartfelt memories of his journey, describing Sara as the soul that transformed his life.

Raj expressed immense pride in Sara’s achievements, saying, “When that daughter is spreading her light in the world, being a Dhurandhar, she shares that spotlight with me too. This brightness of my life is called Sara.”

Raj recalled that in 2005, when Sara was born, he was facing setbacks in his career. His first lead role never materialized, leaving him uncertain about the future. Yet, he found strength in fatherhood. “If this soul hadn’t come into my life, I wouldn’t have been this person or this artist today,” he said, emphasizing how Sara became his emotional anchor.

The actor revealed that their bond went beyond traditional father-daughter roles. “She took care of me like a Dhurandhar,” Raj said, highlighting how Sara’s presence gave him resilience. He added that being a father meant not only guiding her but also letting her be the wind beneath his wings.

A turning point came in 2016 when Raj accompanied Sara to casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s office. In a surprising twist, Sara held Mukesh’s hand and pulled him outside, inadvertently opening doors for her father. Raj bagged a role in Secret Superstar, a film backed by Aamir Khan, which became a breakthrough in his career.

Reflecting on that moment, Raj said, “She turned her destiny towards me. People say daughters hold their father’s hand and move forward, but I reached my destination holding my daughter’s hand.”
