Bollywood Actor Celina Jaitly marked Mother’s Day with a heartbreaking revelation, alleging her children are being “brainwashed” at an undisclosed location amid her custody battle, as Mumbai Police filed an FIR against her husband Peter Haag.
Mumbai, May 10: Bollywood Actor Celina Jaitly shared a deeply emotional note on Mother’s Day, opening up about her ongoing custody battle and alleging that her children are being “brainwashed” at an undisclosed location. The revelation comes as Mumbai Police registered an FIR against her husband, Peter Haag, intensifying the legal dispute.
Taking to Instagram, Celina posted a video recounting her ordeal, stating that she lost her children when she chose to leave Austria to protect her dignity, her children, and her brother. “In the early hours of the morning, with the help of neighbours, I quietly escaped what I had experienced as systematic oppression, isolation, emotional abuse, humiliation and fear,” she wrote.
Celina alleged that her legal efforts in India further distanced her from her children. “Because I filed legal proceedings in India to access my own home, purchased with my own money in 2004, and because I sought legal help for my brother detained in the Middle East, my children were blocked from speaking with me. Despite joint custody arrangements and subsisting orders of the Austrian Family Court, I am presently denied communication with my three children,” she stated.

In a shocking claim, the actress said her children had been moved without her knowledge and were being influenced against her. “My children have been moved to an undisclosed location and are being brainwashed and radicalised against their own mother and her faith in Hinduism by my husband and his father,” she alleged.
Celina also reflected on the tragic loss of her son Shamsher, describing the emotional toll of her marriage and separation. “The only child I got to hold was my departed angel, Shamsher. Despite years of abuse, I repeatedly sought an amicable separation, prioritizing only the welfare of our children. Those efforts were met with demands relating to my premarital assets, coercion, intimidation, and attempts to strip me of my freedom, dignity, and independence,” she wrote.
Concluding her note, Celina vowed to fight for justice. “All I ever asked for was my children and what I myself contributed to this marriage. Today, I am left with a broken heart and a place beside my departed son’s grave where I cry, pray and gather strength. I now return to India to fight for my children, my dignity, truth and justice,” she said.
Meanwhile, reports confirmed that an FIR was filed at Versova Police Station under Sections 85, 115(2), 351(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The complaint includes allegations of cruelty, physical harm, criminal intimidation, and harassment. A Look Out Circular (LOC) has also been issued against Peter Haag for alleged non-cooperation.
Celina had earlier approached the Judicial Magistrate First Class court in Andheri under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, seeking interim relief. Married in 2010, Celina and Haag share three children - Viraaj, Winston, and Arthur.
