Bhubaneswar, Nov 9: A Delhi court granted divorce to singer and rapper Honey Singh and his wife.

His wife Shalini Talwar had filed a domestic violence case against the singer.

The divorce case involved allegations of domestic violence made by Singh's wife, who claimed to have experienced mental, physical, emotional, sexual, and economic violence by Singh and his family.

Before pronouncing the divorce decree, Family Court Principal Judge Paramjit Singh asked whether there was any desire to attempt reconciliation, to which the singer replied that there was no possibility of living or residing together.

They arrived at a settlement and alimony of Rs 1 crore last year. She has withdrawn her case against Honey Singh.

They had got married in January 2011. They moved a plea seeking a mutual divorce in September 2022.
