Mumbai, Jun 28: The entertainment industry is in mourning following the sudden demise of actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who passed away late Friday night due to a cardiac arrest. She was 42.
Best known for her breakout performance in the early 2000s music video Kaanta Laga, Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and close friends.
According to hospital sources, she was declared brought dead upon arrival.
Jariwala rose to fame at the age of 20 with Kaanta Laga, which became a cultural phenomenon. She later appeared in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and participated in reality shows including Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 13, where she was praised for her strong and graceful presence.
