New Delhi, Mar 3: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that no board examinations will be conducted today, March 3, 2026 in several Gulf nations.
The development comes following escalating tensions in the region after joint US and Israeli strikes on Iran over the weekend, which were followed by retaliatory attacks by Tehran.
According to CBSE, the rescheduled Class 10 examinations will now be held on March 11, 2026, while the Class 12 examination will be conducted on April 10, 2026. Schools have been instructed to inform all concerned students and parents about the updated schedule to avoid confusion.
Papers Rescheduled For Class 10
The Class 10 examinations for the following subjects will now be conducted on March 11:
Regional and Foreign Languages (Group-L):
Tibetan, Bhoti, Bhutia, Bodo, Tangkhul, Mizo, Kashmiri, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Bahasa Melayu.
Academic Electives (Group-A2):
National Cadet Corps (NCC) and Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy.
Class 12 Paper Rescheduled
The Class 12 Legal Studies examination, originally scheduled for March 3, will now be held on April 10, 2026.
