Bhubaneswar, Mar 3: A youth was found dead on the railway tracks near Lingaraj Station in the capital city this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Murali Dhar Behera, a resident of Botanda under Airfield Police Station.
According to reports, the matter came to light after locals spotted the body on the tracks and immediately alerted the authorities.
On being informed, the Government Railway Police (GRP), along with Airfield Police, reached the spot and seized the body and sent it to Capital Hospital for post-mortem examination.

According to family members, Murali had left home after receiving a phone call shortly before the incident. They alleged that he may have been murdered and his body deliberately placed on the tracks to mislead investigators.
