The Chief Minister invited the President to the world famous Ratha Yatra festival in Puri.
The newly elected CM and Deputy CMs also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari separately in the national capital.
According to sources, Majhi and his two deputies discussed with the Prime Minister and the Union Ministers regarding the all-round development of Odisha and implementation of the promises made in the BJP’s election manifesto.
The trio is slated to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and several other Union Ministers during their stay in the national capital till June 29.
This is the maiden visit of Majhi to New Delhi after assuming charge as Chief Minister of the first BJP government in Odisha on June 12.
