The accused persons had been released on bail and undergone RTPCR tests. Reports showed that they have been infected with coronavirus.
The two infected were staying in Cell 20 of the special Jail. While a total of 80 undertrials/prisoners were staying the cell, it is suspected that some more persons might have contacted the virus. Some inmates have also Covid symptoms, according to sources.
