Puri, Oct 30: Pilgrims and devotees will be barred from darshan of holy trinity -- Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra -- for five hours Tuesday evening.
The darshan will be closed due to Lord Jagannath's Banakalagi Niti. After the completion of prasad offering of Bhoga Mandap, darshan will be closed from 5 pm to 10 pm for the general public.
After the completion of Banakalagi Niti, darshan will be allowed as usual.
Mobile Phones Inside Temple Premises
A day after the video of actor Shilpa Shetty visiting Shree Lingaraj Temple went viral, it has come to notice that several servitors, security personnel and Srimandir Administration staff using mobile phones inside the Srimandir premises.
The visuals of the use of mobile phones openly inside Srimandir premises raised eyebrows and questionmarks over the security of the Srimandir.
The servitors are discontent with such activities inside Srimandir premises and demanded to provide keypad phones, which they had demanded earlier.
Siddharth Shankar Swain, Puri Collector, has assured that the use of mobile phones will be restricted with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Earlier, a video of the inner parts of the Shree Lingaraj Temple has gone viral on social media, putting a question mark on the security aspect of the temple.
According to the information, Shilpa Shetty visited the 11th Century Shiva Shrine, Monday. Temple Supervisor Raj Kishore Mohapatra guided Shilpa to visit the temple.
