Winter Session Of Odisha Assembly To Commence From November 26

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: The winter session of the Odisha assembly will commence on November 26 and continue till December 31, officials said on Wednesday.

According to a notification issued by the State Assembly Secretariat, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also oversees the Finance Department, will present the first supplementary budget of his  government on November 26. 

He will present the Appropriation Bill on the First Supplementary Statement of Expenditure on December 5,

Demands for grants will be discussed on three days -- December 2 to 4, the notification said.

According to the provisional schedule, the winter session will have 30 business days of which 20 days have been allocated for official business, while five days are reserved for private members' business.
