PM Modi To Visit Odisha On May 19 Again

Bhubaneswar, May 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha for the third time on May 19 (Sunday) to campaign for party candidates in the fray for ongoing elections. 

According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will arrive here on a two-day visit on Sunday evening. He will spend the night at Raj Bhawan and visit Puri the next morning. After paying obeisance to Lord Jagannath, the Prime Minister will hold a mega roadshow in the pilgrim town and seek people's support for his party candidates in the upcoming elections.

Party sources also informed that the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend BJP's Bijay Sankalpa Samavesh at Angul and Cuttack. 

It may be noted that the Prime Minister has already come to Odisha twice and campaigned for the party's MP and MLA candidates at Vijay Sankalap Samavesh at Berhampur, Nabarangpur and Kantabanji in Bolangir district. During his second visit, he also conducted a mega roadshow at Bhubaneswar. 

The Prime Minister's assertion that the ruling BJD's expiry date is June 4 (Vote counting day)BJP will form a government in Odisha on June 10 has increased the confidence in party workers and shivered the spine of the ruling party.

Polling is being held for both Parliamentary and Assembly elections in four phases in the State. While the first phase of voting was done on May 13, the next three pahses are scheduled for May 20, May 25 and June 1. Vote counting is scheduled for June 4.
