Maha Navami: CM Majhi To Visit Durga Puja Pandals In Cuttack Today

Cuttack, Oct 12: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Durga Puja pandals in Cuttack on the occasion of Maha Navami.

As per reports, CM Majhi will visit more than 30 pandals Saturday and seek Maa Durga's blessing. His pandal visit will reportedly begin at 9.30 am.

It is to be noted that Cuttack city BJP President Lalatendu Badu had previously informed about CM Majhi's visit Wednesday.

He had said that CM Majhi will visit Durga Puja pandals after he accepted the invitation from the Cuttack BJP.

CM Majhi's Pandal Visit In Bhubaneswar

Notably, CM Majhi visited Durga Puja pandals in Bhubaneswar Friday and offered prayers to Maa Durga on the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami.

The Chief Minister along with his wife and other senior BJP leaders visited several Puja Mandaps in the Capital City.

“Greetings to all on the occasion of Durga Puja today. I sought the blessings of Maa Durga for the wellbeing of the people across the State,” CM Majhi said.

Durga Puja Pandals In Odisha Become Rent-Free

Earlier Friday, CM Majhi waived off the rent of the Durga puja pandals across Odisha.

The famous Durga Puja is celebrated in Odisha and different parts of the country as a victory of good over evil and Maa Durga is considered as a symbol of shakti.

The festival commenced in Odisha Thursday with all rituals and festive spirit. Devotees are seen Friday worshiping Goddess Durga, in different ‘Shakti Peethas’ and puja pandals across the state.
