Bus Hits Truck On Cuttack Outskirts; 6 Injured

Cuttack, Oct 15: As many as six people were injured, some of them critically, as a bus, in which they were travelling, hit a truck on NH 16 at Telengapentha on the Cuttack outskirts early on Tuesday morning. 

The injured persons have been rushed to the SCB Medical College and Hospital. 

According to the information, a private bus was on its way from Phulbani to Cuttack when the driver lost control and drove it into the backside of a truck. The driver's drowsiness, caused by driving through the night, is believed to have led to the mishap. 

Fire personnel, policemen, and locals rescued all passengers from the bus. Six people were found injured, including the bus driver and the helper.
