Bhubaneswar: Man Killed In A Hotel Near Damana Square

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: A man was killed in a hotel near Damana Square in Bhubaneswar, Tuesday. The man has been identified as Pitambar Jena, who was working as a cook in Hotel Maa Taradei. Jena was a native of Ganjam.

Jena was killed by one of his colleagues, who was also working as a cook, with a 'Paniki' -- a tool with a cutting edge and a wooden footrest. The reason behind the murder is still unknown.

However, primary investigation has revealed that the crime was committed over a demand of fish.

Chandrasekharpur police arrived at the scene and started the investigation. The accused is absconded and police is in search of the accused.

More details are awaited as investigation is underway.
