Here are some serene destinations that every solo female traveler should consider.

1. Budha Budhiani Dam

Located 10 km from Odagaon and 30 km from Nayagarh town, Budha Budhiani is known for its quiet landscape and soothing water views. The calm environment makes it ideal for photography or simply spending some quality time by yourself.

2. Similijhar Waterfall

This waterfall is one of Nayagarh's lesser-known treasures. Surrounded by thick green forest, the waterfall offers a refreshing break from city life. The area is safe, scenic, and perfect for short treks.

3. Khallikote Range

If you enjoy panoramic views, then the Khallikote range is a wonderful escape. It is a significant forest area within the Berhampur Forest Division, known for its rich biodiversity, including large teak forests, diverse birdlife, and elephants, offering scenic views and adventure activities like hiking.

4. Mandasaru Valley

Often called the "Silent Valley of Odisha," it is located at the top of Manda Hill, about 30 km from Daringbadi and 75 km from Phulbani Town. With deep canyons, lush green valleys, and peaceful viewpoints, it is perfect for women travelers. The eco-resort here is safe and well-maintained.

5. Astaranga and Pir Jahania Beach

Astaranga is already famous for its colorful sunsets; Pir Jahania Beach is an equally calm and beautiful option for those who prefer quiet shores. These beaches are safe, clean, and peaceful—perfect for long walks or enjoying the coastal beach alone.

6. Rambha Town

Rambha is one of the most scenic places around Chilika. It is located 45 km from Berhampur. From this place, one can see the scenic beauty of Lake Chilika. Besides this, the boats are available for cruising in Chilika Lake to enjoy the sights. It is only 140 km from Bhubaneswar on the road.

7. Badaghagara Waterfall, Keonjhar

This beautiful waterfall, surrounded by dense forest, is a refreshing place for adventure lovers. The walk to the waterfall is enjoyable and safe during the right seasons. The sound of rushing water and green forest around create an energizing atmosphere for solo explorers.

8. Aapkhol Waterfall, Bargarh

Aapkhol is another hidden beauty tucked inside Bargarh's natural landscape. It is located inside the Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary near Sardhapali Village.
