Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday
inaugurated the Kalinga Atithi Nivas at the Raj Bhavan premises in Bhubaneswar
during her two-day visit to Odisha, officials said.
The newly constructed facility is designed to provide
accommodation for visiting VVIPs and dignitaries, while showcasing Odisha’s
rich cultural heritage through its architecture and design.
According to official sources, the Atithi Nivas reflects the
state’s ancient art, culture, and traditions, blending them seamlessly with
modern amenities to create a dignified and welcoming space. The inauguration
marks a significant step in strengthening Odisha’s hospitality infrastructure,
ensuring that Raj Bhavan can host national and international guests with both
comfort and cultural pride.
